Some tips on oral sex (on women):

1. Communicate! This is one of the most important things you can do when doing anything sexually with someone. Seriously, make sure you communicate! Sometimes people are uncomfortable with communication, so bear this in mind and try to encourage them some. If that doesn't work, then pay attention to their body language so that you can get some idea if they like or dislike whatever you're doing to them.
2. Taking it slow is often great (though you may want to ask your partner about their preferences). you don't have to go straight for the the most sensitive bits. There are lots of great nerve endings in lots of other places as well. Try starting out by rubbing the recipient's thighs, belly and breasts; you can lick them and kiss them there too and let the anticipation build some.
3. Once you do get to the vulva, it is still not yet time to go for the clit. Focus on the mons and the labia next. Vary the motions of your tongue and the pressure you're using. It also helps to continue rubbing your partner with your hands in places that she likes (her thighs, belly, breasts or wherever she tells you is good).
4. Finally, you can go for the clit and vagina. Try to pace yourself according to what your partner likes. Find out if she likes it faster or slower; watch the way her body is responding. Vary the movements of your tongue to prevent her clit becoming desensitized to what you're doing. Lots of sources suggest trying to write the alphabet with your tongue over her clit - that is a pretty good idea! You can also try shapes, numbers and if you're creative, whatever novel movement you can think of. Alternating sucking and licking is often a great idea, though some women may prefer one over the other. Occasionally sliding a finger or two or your tongue into her vagina to find her G-spot is also an excellent move. Since the G-spot can be so evasive, try to find it with your fingers first or if you need help, ask her about it!
5. If you don't like the taste of pussy or if you're not a fan of giving oral, try some flavored lubricant!
