An article this week on AlterNet reported on a project charmingly called F*ck For Forest (FFF), designed apparently for people who like porn and who would like to get behind a movement that conjoins concern for the environment with sexual liberation. The FFF, a non-profit organization based in Berlin but founded in Norway in 2004, get all hot and steamy in parks and forests in the name of saving the planet. The group raises money for ecological projects by charging a subscription fee to its members to view their explicit homemade porn. The FFF’s motto, if you’re interested, is Copulation for Conservation. Now that’s a cause we can all rally around.

Keeping An Eye On The Porn World

Another article published in UK broadsheet The Guardian on Jan 21, 2014, reported on a surprising problem resulting from the imposition of porn filters in the UK. Intended to ‘protect’ the young from adult content, it appears that the filter has blocked an update to the online strategy game League of Legends because it accidentally included the letters s-e-x in the middle of its file names. It just goes to show, porn filters or no porn filters, people are still getting screwed.

Elsewhere, Cambridge University has done a study to find out what happens to your brain if you watch too much porn. Now, you know what certain parts of your anatomy look like when you’re watching folk banging hard, but your brain? Don’t let the study get you down though, so as to speak, because the results are based on those suffering from an addiction to porn. As with all things, we recommend moderation. Strangle the sausage, sure… but not to death! Still, to the scientists at Cambridge, well done on some seriously deep penetration!

As we all know, technology has had a massive impact on the porn industry and the way people access their porn. We recently reported on a man in Australia who paid $42,000 for his own private webcam performance. Well, as an extension to that, an article in Salon.com at the beginning of January this year featured an interview with Chris Moukarbel, the director of a new HBO documentary called Sex//Now, which purports to take a look at the evolution of sex from phone sex to webcamming. The interview focuses on how sex has changed since HBO’s other documentary series Real Sex aired in the 1990s.

This year’s AVN Awards Show, the hottest industry show in the business, took place on January 18, 2014, in Las Vegas. A full list of the winners can be found HERE.

Finally, just because we love it so much, even though it was originally posted on YouTube on September 10, 2013, we couldn’t resist giving you all another chance to see the ‘It’s Not Porn…’ Why? Well, not just because it’s hilarious but because it also makes what to us seems like a very important point… the culture of censorship would have scenes of explicit sexual congress erased from the public consciousness, while at the same time, glorying in the Hollywood horrors of war and brutality. That’s right, humans having sex will, apparently, mentally scar the poor unsuspecting viewer for all eternity, whereas a bit of playful evisceration and murder, well, that’s just a bit of fun – after all that’s the foundation of some of the most popular video games today. All that having been said, however, whereas porn is slammed and hidden away from view, the simulated sex, eroticism and almost constant nudity of some modern television makes you wonder why anybody makes any fuss about porn at all. HBO may as well change its name to HBOh, Oh, OH YEAH! Anyway, enjoy the video!
