I’m not going to pretend that I don’t get tingles every time I think about the new season of Game of Thrones. Spring is coming ladies and gents and so are some awesome new TV shows. Are you ready?

Game of Thrones (HBO)
Premieres: Sunday, April 6th

Where We Left Off: The shock of the ‘Red Wedding’ is still fresh in my mind as the new season of GOT approaches. Last we saw, Jaime had returned to Cercei, Daenerys is received as ‘Mhysa’ by the freed slaves of Yunkai, the White Walkers have arrived, and we’re all wondering WTF happens to the Starks now.

What’s Next: If you’re confused why some old characters look different this season it’s because they re-cast a few of them. These include Daario Naharis, Sir Gregor Clegane and Tommen Baratheon. We left last season with Tyrion married to Sansa, this season we might see him caught in a love triangle as pressure to produce a baby with Sansa heightens. What will Lysa Arryn have to say of her sister’s murder at the Red Wedding? There is also the upcoming nuptials of Joffrey and Margaery to look forward to.

Californication (Showtime)
Premiers: Sunday, April 13th

Where we left off: After ding-donging between Faith and Karen, Hank decides to leave with Faith to go on tour with Atticus but at the last minute changes his mind and gets a lift back to Karen’s on Krull’s motorbike. We are left with Hank outside Karen’s door, uncertain of how things will turn out.

What’s Next: Will Karen and Hank finally find closure in their tumultuous relationship? We hope we can see an ending (or beginning) to this relationship in the final season of Californication. Hank joins the writing staff of a new TV series that is based on his recent movie. Rob Lowe returns as the actor Eddie Nero.

Mad Men (AMC)
Premieres: Sunday, April 13th

Where We Left Off: Last season we saw Don being told to take some time off indefinitely for single handedly screwing up the agency’s shot at the Hersheys account.

What’s Next: This final season of Mad Men is going to be split in two, one airing in April 13th and the other airing in 2015. Has Don finally screwed up his advertising career for good? Let’s find out in the new season.

Devious Maids (Lifetime)
Premiers: Sunday, April 20th

Where we left off: After a whole season of figuring out who killed Flora, the killer is finally discovered and is killed by Adrian. We are left with a satisfied feeling as everything has come to a good end and justice has (sort of) prevailed. However this is cut short as Rosie is arrested by the US immigration as Peri (who called the ICE) looks on.

What’s Next: This season will center round Opal, a new maid played by Joanna P. Adler. We also find out what happens between Peri and Spence and Rosie, and if Alejandro and Carmen finally get married.

Orange is the New Black
Premiers: Friday, June 6th

Where we left off: Things got so heated up between Doggett and Chapman, it leads to a final confrontation. At the beginning of the fight Chapman appeals to Healy to step in but he walks away leaving the two girls alone to fight it out. We left last season with the sick sight of Chapman repeatedly striking Doggett.

What’s Next: Did Chapman actually kill Doggett? Well, some spoilers, turns out she didn’t, as Doggett returns this season as a full cast member – minus some teeth. We can’t wait to see what’s in store in this new season. Enjoy!
