Thailand Has Banned The ‘Underboob’!

Stop the press! This is urgent business. Thailand, the country of contradictions and the first three person same sex marriage has somehow found the underboob so disturbing that they’ve outright banned it!

Apparently the trend of taking selfies with the underboob showing – and frankly, I’m kinda ashamed I didn’t start the trend!! – has gone viral and Thailand’s military government is having none of it. Apparently this trend could violate the country’s computer crime laws.

The law they’re referring to is the 2007 Computer Crimes Act banning any material that causes “damage to the country’s security or causes public panic” or “any obscene computer data which is accessible to the public”.

I don’t know whether to be amused or appalled. Never has the underboob have so much power! Apparently it is causing public panic, damaging Thailand’s security and is also some sort of obscene computer data. This is clearly the kind of power evil villains dream of having. However seeing that most evil villains are usually men, and don’t possess the all-powerful underboob, they can only carry on dreaming. And the women villains apparently never had the foresight to bring forth the underboob. Perhaps things will change from now on…

Anyone caught posting such an offensive selfie can face up to five years in jail – although trying to find the culprit might prove to be a challenge on its own, seeing that none of these selfies come with an actual face shot. Just an… er… underboob shot.

When people take these ‘underboob selfies’ no one can see their faces,” ministry spokesman Anandha Chouchoti told Reuters. “So it’s like, we don’t know who these belong to, and it encourages others to do the same. We can only warn people to not take it up. They are inappropriate actions.

Just to be clear, the rest of Thailand’s raunchy nightlife – ladyboys, same-sex marriage, triple same sex marriage, happy ending massages and upperboobs – have not been banned. Business will carry on as usual.
