With so many hotties on TV nowadays it’s getting harder and harder to differentiate these lovely ladies. Everyone seems to be made from the same cookie cutter, ejected from a factory that seems to have only one mold. So for this (not so original) list, I thought I’d present the beautiful women of television that are hot and different. And that’s not different with quotation marks. I mean actual hot ladies, enhanced by their TV roles. Granted, some of these shows I haven’t watched, but their hotness still stands. Behold, BaDoink’s list of 10 hottest Actresses currently on TV.
1) Olivia Munn – as Sloan Sabbith from The Newsroom (HBO)
When it comes to hotness, Miss Munn breaks the mold in all aspects. A product of mixed parentage (Chinese, German, Irish), she plays the hot, socially awkward, intelligent Sloan Sabbith on HBO’s Newsroom. What can I say, there’s something about that combination along with pencil skirts and horn rimmed glasses that just oozes yummy! Watch out for her this summer when Newsroom premiere’s for it’s second season in July 2013.
2) Christina Hendriks – as Joan Harris on Mad Men (AMC)
Ah, how far she’s come since playing Saffron on Firefly. Well, not that far because even then she was playing a sultry hottie! This nomination was a toss up between her and other Mad Men hottie, January Jones. But when it comes down to it, Christina looks like someone whom you’d have a lot of cheeky fun with and January looks like someone who would just sit there and expect you to entertain her. Plus we’re pretty sure Christina will be on fire in the sack! Win!
3) Emilia Clarke – as Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones (HBO)
Probably the biggest show on TV right now! Emilia plays the strong, silent, sexy Khaleesi who starts off unsure and afraid and then she gets 3 dragons and BAM! She has an army, she has minions and she’s coming for the iron throne! Hot!
4) Sophía Vergara – as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on Modern Family (ABC)
She’s the fiery, Colombian, young, second wife of Jay Pritchett on Modern Family and honestly she kinda steals the show every time she appears with her hilarious mispronunciations and her sex appeal. We love her!
5) Meghan Markle – as Rachel Zane on Suits (USA Network
Sexy, sassy and intelligent paralegal? Yes please! Meghan just sizzles in Suits – as I’m sure you already know. If you aren’t watching Suits yet, don’t say we didn’t warn you!
6) Grace Park – as Kono Kalakaua on Hawaii-five-O (CBS)
Truth be told, I haven’t seen Hawaii-five-O, but I’ve had a crush on Grace Park since she played the Sharons on Battlestar Galactica (2004) and her badassery continues on in Hawaii-five-O (or so I assume after a quick YouTube search). Either way, she sizzles in her characteristically calm, quiet, kick-ass way in both shows!
7) Kerry Washington – as Olivia Pope on Scandal (ABC)
If you’ve watched Django Unchained I’m sure you remember Miss Washington as Django’s love interest. She was hot there and she is super hot in Scandal – cool, calm, calculatiing and super smart! Who doesn’t love a lady running her own firm with so much charm and sex appeal? Love it!
8) Alison Brie – as Annie Edison on Community (NBC)
Sure she plays the young, innocent Annie Edison in Community but no one is fooled Alison! No one! Especially when YouTube videos like this and this exist! For such a sweet character she exudes a tremendous amount of sexual temptation! We know the truth.
9) Emily VanCamp (Top Image)- as Emily Thorne / Amanda Clarke on Revenge (ABC)
Right, so Revenge is actually a guilty pleasure. It plays like a modern Dynasty with all its twists and turns and drama. In the midst of it all lays the cool, collected Emily VanCamp – seeking revenge in a way that makes all the girls wanna be her and all the boys wanna do her!
10) Allison Williams – as Marnie Michaels on Girls (HBO)
Finally on the list we have a relative newcomer to the scene. In Girls she plays whiny, annoying Marnie but still, like all hot girls, you can’t hate her for long. We’ve got her on this list because of all her great work on Truth or Die and College Humor and also because well… she’s hot.
