Summer is just a few months away and that means SUMMER MOVIES! And sun, sand and beach and all that yeah. But there are some movies we here at BaDoink have been waiting for and in a few months we shall be able to watch them. Here are 5 summer movies we’re looking forward to watching:

X-Men Days of Future Past

If I had balls, they would be tingling in anticipation of the new X-men movie. I mean did you see the trailer? It is rare indeed when the seventh film in a franchise still makes you act like a giddy teenager trying to watch Twilight when it was still a thing. Unlike the last Batman movie (yeah, whatever I don’t care) X-men has delivered with each of its movies and with this one, it seems like  20th Century Fox is pulling out all the stops and delivering awesomeness on a silver platter.

A Million Ways to Die in the West

I admit, I never watched Ted the movie but I have watched Family Guy and when I saw the trailer for A Million Ways to Die in the West I just knew in my bones that this was one movie not to be missed. Not only does it have a stellar cast with Amanda Seyfried, Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson and Sarah Silverman, it’s also set in the west? Win I say. And if that doesn’t turn you, then let this. It has Barney Stinson Neil Patrick Harris in it too. I’d watch this just to get my NPH fix since HIMYM has ended. Luckily we don’t have to wait too long before it’s release date!

The Amazing Spiderman 2

Ok, I’m gonna level with you here, I’ve never quite agreed with any of the Spiderman casting choices but I do feel that Andrew Garfield is a better Spiderman than Toby McGuire. I dunno, Toby was just too short and Toby-ish to be Spiderman. So I wait in anticipation for the new Spiderman to be released in just a few weeks. In this sequel we see the web slinger’s life get a whole lot more complicated when his former childhood friend re-enters his life.

The Edge of Tomorrow

Based on a Japanese light novel called All you need is Kill, this movie’s premise is that of Groundhog Day where Bill Murray must repeat the same horrendous day until he learns to embrace it. Except replace Bill Murray with Tom Cruise, and add an alien invasion and you get The Edge of Tomorrow. Tom Cruise is an soldier that must relive his death in battle again and again until he stops the alien scum. Heck, this has summer blockbuster written all over it.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:

Alright I know what you’re gonna say, but this is just too tempting to pass up. Just like the Transformers movies, love it or hate it, you know you’re going to watch it. I mean, it’s the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Hell it’s even got Megan Fox in it! Cowabunga!
