This past Friday saw thousands of sex workers, other members of the industry and huge swathes of the public come together to join #PornProtest; an event designed to show the rumblings of disquiet against the British government and the Authority For Television on Demand’s (ATVOD) recent rulings on UK porn.
It was very much a British sort of protest: nice and orderly, calm and even some tweed jackets and jodhpurs! The fight isn’t over yet, as the UK porn industry seeks to try and rescue livelihoods and careers that could be destroyed by these bizarre and draconian rules.
If there’s any ones we’ve missed out on then be sure to let us know!
