Riding on the back of French President Francois Hollande’s public affair with actress Julie Gayet comes a fresh rumor of another love affair involving Obama and world famous singer Beyonce.

French media has already reported on the alleged romance between the US President and the artist, with claims that the Washington Post is getting ready to publish a story that would confirm their involvement.

Kristine Coratti, director of communications for the newspaper, denied the claims and said: “I can tell you that it’s false. The Washington Post does not produce articles of this kind.”

Still, Pascal Rostain, the photographer who snapped pictures of Hollande riding a scooter to visit Gayet in their love nest in Paris, said an affair between Obama, 52, and Beyonce, 20 years his junior, would send shockwaves around the world.

“You know, at this moment, in the United States, there’s something huge which is about to happen. Indeed, it will come out tomorrow in the Washington Post. We cannot say that it is from the gutter press,” Rostain was quoted as saying in Le Figaro and Le Point. “I can assure you that the world will talk.”

Obama and his wife Michelle are both fans of Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z, who have both served as fundraisers for Obama’s presidential campaigns. At his 2009 inauguration, Beyonce sang the First Couple’s first dance and she was there for the second inauguration to sing America the Beautiful.

“For the first time, there are still images or televised ones of the Obama couple becoming a bit distant. One can legitimately pose questions. We were told the same thing by the pictures of Hollande and (his ex) Trierweiler,” Rostain said.

There have already been rumors of increased tensions in the Obama household, although Beyonce’s and Jay-Z’s marriage is said to be rock solid.

Should the rumors of an affair between Obama and Beyonce turn out to be true, he wouldn’t be the first President to stray from his wife.

The world already knows what Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky got up to with a cigar in the oval office and steamy meetings between John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe are well documented.

Clinton ended up resigning after he was impeached after congressional hearings where he said the famous words: “I did not have sexual relations with that woman. Miss Lewinsky.”

Unfortunately for the former president the White House intern kept a blue dress with Clinton’s DNA all over it. As for Kennedy, well, he got shot in the head during a visit to Dallas in 1963. In all fairness, it probably had nothing to do with screwing Marilyn Monroe.
